Co-founded the Community Exchange System (Cape Town, 2003) and wrote its software himself — a global internet-based mutual-credit network where communities trade with credit they issue themselves instead of bank- or state-issued money; later built Clearing Central, the second-tier exchange between groups. Currently driving the CES 2 rebuild on the open-source Komunitin stack and still publishing monetary thought on the org's site: a four-part 'The Future of Exchange' series (May 2026) and 'Beyond Money Consciousness' (18 Jul 2026).
