Created DAI, the first at-scale decentralized stablecoin: money issued by permissionless, overcollateralized smart contracts and governed by token holders instead of a bank or state issuer. Led the 2024 Endgame transformation of MakerDAO into Sky (USDS now a top-3 stablecoin by market cap), and his long-term design explicitly keeps open a free-floating DAI decoupled from the dollar. A decade of his monetary-design reasoning is public on the Maker/Sky governance forum (posting since 2019, most recently April 2026); 2026 focus is Grove, Sky's $1B tokenized-credit arm.
