Jameson Lopp

Lopp is a Bitcoin infrastructure engineer and the co-founder and chief security officer of Casa, a self-custody service that lets people hold their own bitcoin without trusting a bank or exchange. He built Statoshi, a real-time Bitcoin node statistics tool, and maintains widely used open resources on node validation, key management, and the physical-attack risks facing coin holders. His work centers on making self-sovereign custody robust enough to survive institutional failure and coercion, so that individuals rather than intermediaries stay in control of their money.
