Pseudonymous creator and lead maintainer of Cashu, a free and open-source Chaumian ecash protocol for Bitcoin that gives users cash-like privacy through blind signatures, with mints settling over the Lightning Network. He builds the Nutshell mint and the Cashu.me wallet, and receives long-term support from OpenSats to harden the protocol with mint auditing and denial-of-service protections. His work turned David Chaum's ecash design into a live payments ecosystem on Bitcoin.
