Anthony Towns is a Brisbane-based software engineer and one of the most active Bitcoin Core contributors, with more than ninety merged pull requests in the reference implementation. He runs Bitcoin Inquisition, a test network where proposed consensus changes get deployed and tried before any mainnet decision. He researches Bitcoin's long-term security at the MIT Digital Currency Initiative.
