Negi
Negi is the digital local currency of Fukaya City in Japan. One negi equals one yen. Residents pay with a smartphone app or a QR card at more than 1,100 local shops. Payments earn at least 1% back in points, and the city runs larger point campaigns through the year. The currency takes its name from the city's well-known green onions.
