DDSC
DDSC is a UAE dirham stablecoin from AEDC Stable Coin Network and Distribution LLC, licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE. It settles on ADI Chain and is backed by IHC, First Abu Dhabi Bank and Sirius International Holding.
A dirham stablecoin from three of the largest balance sheets in Abu Dhabi, live on ADI Chain since February 2026 and cleared in July 2026 to reach retail through VARA-regulated exchanges. The reserve page is better disclosure than most of this class, with a named auditor, and it is also four months stale and roughly double the supply that is actually on-chain. Scores 2.2, the same as the bank-issued wrappers already catalogued, with weaker traction offset by a token holders can genuinely custody.

Detailed Rating Breakdown
Issuance Model3x3.0
IM-01 1 (single CBUAE-licensed issuer). IM-02 5 (minted against dirham deposits, no debt). IM-03 2 (fiat reserves only). IM-04 4 (elastic mint and burn, no cap). IM-05 4 (redemption at stated 1:1 parity, user-initiated). Average 3.2.
Spending Power Stability2x2.0
SPS-01 2 (reserve redemption, no protocol mechanism). SPS-02 2 (AED tracks USD, so the reference carries USD inflation). SPS-03 3 (a public proof-of-reserves page exists with a named auditor, Crowe, which is more than most of this class; it is marked down because the dashboard reads 'As of MAY 1, 2026' and shows 110.2M supply against 55,710,999 read live on-chain this run, so the published figure is four months stale and roughly double the real float). SPS-04 3 (launched February 2026, under a year of live data). SPS-05 3 (daily parity only). SPS-06 2 (UAE, institutional first). Weighted 2.5.
Fiat Independence & Interoperability2x1.0
FI-01 1 (1:1 AED peg). FI-02 1 (100% dirham reserves). FI-03 1 (banking rails are the mint and redeem path). FI-04 1. FI-05 1. FI-06 1 (no transition path). FI-07 1 (monolithic). FI-08 3 (a standard ERC-20 on a public-RPC L2 with an explorer and a bridge, so generic crypto interoperability exists even though no monetary standard is defined). Weighted 1.3.
Traction2x2.0
TR-01 5 (live; 614 lifetime transfers on-chain with the most recent dated 2026-08-27, read this run). TR-02 2 (launched February 2026, about six months). TR-03 1 (no holder or user figure published, and 614 lifetime transfers implies a very small set). TR-04 1 (institutional settlement only so far; the CBUAE no-objection certificate of 2026-07-03 permits retail distribution through VARA-regulated exchanges but names none, and the listings remain conditional). TR-05 2 (quoted as an AED equivalent). TR-06 3 (no named leadership; the /about page is a 404 and the site credits corporate backers rather than people). TR-07 4 (IHC, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Sirius International Holding, ADI Foundation, Crowe, Sumsub, Crystal Intelligence). TR-08 4 (Ledger Insights, The National, The Block, The Asian Banker). TR-09 3 (institutional, no emissions or subsidies, but no organic retail base yet). TR-10 4 (launch to retail clearance inside six months). TR-11 2 (sovereign-infrastructure framing, no community). Weighted 2.5.
Sovereignty2.0
SO-01 1 (single issuer under a revocable CBUAE licence, on a chain run by one foundation). SO-02 2 (ADI Chain publishes an RPC and explorer, but the validator set is permissioned and the token contract source is not published). SO-03 1 (wholly UAE). SO-04 3 (a real ERC-20 that a holder can custody, but minting and redemption both require the licensed issuer). SO-05 4 (institutional sponsors). SO-06 2 (one L2, no tested fallback). SO-07 2 (Sumsub KYC and Crystal Intelligence screening are named on the issuer's own surface). SO-08 2 (public ledger plus operator analytics). SO-09 2 (contract source not public, so the monetary rules rest on issuer honesty). Weighted 1.9.
Governance2.0
GO-01 3 (governance imposed by two CBUAE licences, Stored Value Facilities and Payment Token Services). GO-02 1 (single company, three corporate backers). GO-03 2 (whitepaper and a reserve dashboard are published, but the dashboard disagrees with on-chain supply by roughly 2x). GO-04 1. GO-05 1. GO-06 1. GO-07 2 (a CBUAE-accepted whitepaper is not a constitution). GO-08 2 (issuance is bounded by regulation from outside, not by the issuer's own rules). Weighted 1.7.
Resilience2.0
RE-01 1 (six months old, no adversarial event). RE-02 2 (single chain, single explorer and RPC). RE-03 3 (on-chain state is public and readable, reserves sit with licensed custodians). RE-04 4 (a 1:1 ERC-20 wrapper is simple). RE-05 2 (tied to one niche L2 with no tested migration). RE-06 3 (ring-fenced reserves with a Crowe attestation, untested under stress). RE-07 3 (on a 55.7M float, interest income does not fund the operation; IHC and FAB do). RE-08 2. RE-09 3 (programmable ERC-20, but access is KYC-gated). Weighted 2.3.
Inclusivity3.0
IN-01 2 (UAE, KYC, licensed venues). IN-02 4 (the issuer states no minimum deposit threshold, and L2 fees are low). IN-03 2 (positioned as institutional-grade). IN-04 2 (seigniorage to the issuer and its backers). IN-05 4 (same 1:1 parity for everyone). IN-06 2 (Sumsub identity verification required). IN-07 3. Weighted 2.7.
