Brazilian developer who created Floresta, a lightweight Bitcoin node that ordinary hardware can run. Floresta uses Utreexo, a compact cryptographic accumulator that shrinks the data a node must store to verify the chain. He is the project's lead author and writes about light-client security on his own blog. The Brazilian nonprofit Vinteum funds the work.
