Three runaway money supplies
Some money supplies grow too fast for a normal chart. This one uses a log scale: every gridline step up means ten times more money. Straight lines on this scale mean steady printing. Lines that steepen mean the printing itself is accelerating.
The Argentine peso supply is 1,948x its 2000 level. The Turkish lira supply is 386x its 2000 level. The Egyptian pound supply is 49x its 2000 level.
M2 money supply, indexed to 2000 = 100
Every line goes up — that’s the point. Angle of attack tells the story.
