New Taipei Bulao Time Bank
New Taipei City runs a time bank for elder care. Volunteers visit older residents at home and give about one hour of help each week. Each hour of service earns one time credit. Volunteers can save credits for their own care later, use them for services, or donate them. The city started the program in 2013 and more than 3,000 volunteers have joined.
Government-run elder-care time bank in New Taipei City, live since 2013 with 3,000+ volunteers and 600,000+ service hours. Debt-free hour-based issuance and a fully fiat-independent unit score well; single-city control caps sovereignty and governance. Top of the municipal time-bank class.
