37th SUERF Colloquium: Inflation, Inflation Expectations, and Monetary Policy
The Bank of Italy and SUERF hold the 37th SUERF Colloquium in Rome on 19 and 20 November 2026. It examines what drives inflation, how households and firms form inflation expectations, and how well monetary policy stabilises prices. Researchers from universities, central banks and policy institutions present work on price setting, inflation persistence and central bank credibility. Stephanie Schmitt-Grohe of Columbia University gives the SUERF Marjolin Lecture, Adrien Auclert of Stanford gives the academic keynote, and the conference runs in hybrid format.
